This is a cool monster half off from the Hallmark store this December!
He has a friend I will post tomorrow.

He is huge and I plan to use him to tell a friendship story called: Two Sad and Lonely Monsters.

One I got while I was a freshman in college in 1993 and the second guy I got last year at a garage sale, 2011.

These are Jim Henson puppet guys!

I love them!

I used him for my own version of Ed Emberly's Go Away Big Green Monster.

In 1993, Hasbro released three kits of puppet toys based on the Muppet Workshop's Whatnot puppets under the Playskool label. Each set came with a set of body parts to create your own Whatnot character or monster, not unlike the way real Whatnot characters are created in the workshop.

I want to use him to tell a version of Anansi the spider, Louise told that story so well!
I hope to do it as good as here one day!

I got her at the toy store in the mall right next to the Peninsula Branch as part of the Palos Verdes Library District.

I used Molly for my Monday Storytime at Malaga Cove.

Puppet 33- GROUNDHOG Gus!!

Joel and I named him Gus.

I got him this year to do a groundhog storytime which went over VERY WELL!!!

Gus really wanted to see his friend Phil.  He was surprised he saw his shadow!!!

This is a Caltoy puppet that I got some time while in CA working at PVLD.
I think it was an ebay purchase...

I also used this in the pirate puppet song...he was the Nemo fish. The kids were very excited to see him!
